ABA Therapy Assistants who are driven by the desire to learn, passionate about teaching, and enjoy being around children. You may hold or are working toward a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or another related field. You do not necessarily need to have experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities, but if you do, that is a plus. We hire many individuals whom do not have prior experience in ABA nor autism, and many of them have become rock stars after receiving training and ongoing supervision.
Full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst
● Administer, conduct, and evaluate skill assessments and functional behavior assessments;
● Develop treatment plans and behavior intervention plans for each assigned client;
● Update and submit treatment plan to request ongoing authorization for services;
● Implement treatment programs effectively using ABA terminology;
● Collaborate, consult and provide training for parents, and other related-service providers (e.g., OT, teachers, SLP);
● Provide training and supervision to ABA therapy assistants in areas of: program implementation, data collection, behavior reduction management;
● Provide oversight to client’s behavior analytic programs;
● Provide 1:1 direct applied behavior analysis therapy services in the home, clinic, school, or community-based setting, as needed. If approved, perform occasional 1:1 telehealth sessions with clients;
● Participate in monthly BCBA team meeting and individual meetings with Clinical Director(s);
● Adhere to company and insurance policies.
Rate of Pay: $55,682-74,970 per year
Job Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Science or other related field. Must have Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB); Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential issued by Washington State Department of Health.
**Will travel to patients' sites to conduct assessment and deliver treatment, only within the State of Washington (This position has clients that receive home services and will need to go to their home to provide supervision to the behavior technicians who work 1:1 with the clients.
Depending on the client’s service location, sometimes will also travel to their school, daycare, or work at the clinic. Most of the clients are served within 30 miles from Sum of Learning in Bellevue, Washington.)
