Who We Are Seeking
ABA Therapy Assistant (Certified Behavior Technician)
ABA Therapy Assistants deliver ABA services under the direction and close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). They assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to support clients in areas such as communication, social skills, and daily living tasks. ABA Therapy Assistants follow established behavior intervention plans to address challenging behaviors and track client progress through accurate data collection and session documentation. They also collaborate with families, providing updates on client progress, and work closely with BCBAs to ensure the highest quality of care. Ongoing training and supervision are provided to support professional growth and effectiveness in the role.

Practicum Student
At Sum of Learning, practicum students enrolled in ABA graduate programs gain valuable fieldwork experience while working toward BCBA certification. In this role, practicum students serve as ABA Therapy Assistants, providing direct care to clients and assisting BCBAs with assessments, treatment plan development, program implementation, data analysis, and parent training. Under the mentorship of experienced BCBA practicum supervisors, practicum students receive hands-on training that not only fulfills their fieldwork requirements but also prepares them for their future careers as BCBAs.

As a Program Supervisor/BCBA, you will oversee the implementation of individualized ABA treatment plans for clients in various settings, including home, clinic, school, and community. Whether you are newly certified or a seasoned BCBA, you will benefit from the mentorship of our strong leadership team. Newly certified BCBAs will receive guidance on developing effective practices, while experienced professionals will have the opportunity to refine their supervision and leadership skills.
